Hi, My name is Nicolas, I’m a friend of Lionel, the Sconeage guy at the Pasadena Farmer Market. I met your wife who told me to check out your site. I finally did, a little late, but did it.

I like your project a lot. I wanted to keep in touch with your guys. I have a few websites, maybe we can do an interview for one of them.

    Thanks, and take care, Nicolas

I am enthusiastic about the possibilities represented in this approach. Let me know about ways in which I can help facilitate this process of decentralizing power generation and saving our planetary environment.

    Hi Markus,
I’m a journalist with the BBC and we are currently making a radio documentary about the impact that fridges have had on the world. What I am looking for is actually one step removed from what you are doing – I’m trying to find someone in LA who is living without a fridge… I was wondering whether you might have come across someone like that… I would be very grateful for any pointers.
    Kind regards,
    Chloe Hadjimatheou

    Hi Markus,

I think what you’re doing is great. I’d love to back your kickstarter project but I live in the UK. Any plans to expand to the UK/Europe?

There are plans afoot for everyone in the UK to use no electricity at all on the 27th of each month for the next few months.. partly as a protest against our new government and the way that they’re ignoring climate change and promoting fracking. of course, the only thing we can’t turn off is our fridges, so it would be great if you could get involved in this in some way 🙂

Currently I am using an Arduino computer to control the solar powering of my off the grid home with going solar power during the day and utility at night. Also I have another home grid system using staged grid tie inverters to charge my electric car as solar power is available and use utility power to make up the difference. I am currently producing 240KWh per month.

      Hello Chris,

We have developed a smart solar controller that works with all kind of batteries but not the battery itself.
